When can you start planting annuals in your yard?

by | Mar 10, 2010 | Resources, Market News, Ask Pahl's Market

Dear Dee,

Generally, when can I plant annuals in my yard?

Annie Annual

Dear Annie Annual,

Minnesota is a tough state to predict. On the average though Mothers Day weekend is a pretty safe bet to start your planting. As we all know spring in Minnesota can change at a moments notice. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the weather and if you are in doubt cover your flowers up or if possible bring them into your garage or house, depending how cold it is going to get.

Sincerely Dee
