Fall is literally around the corner and one of my favorite times of the year. The State fair is in full swing, squash is starting to come in from our fields (I actually have a pumpkin sitting on my front stoop and I am sure my neighbors think that I am crazy), and the cool crisp air is starting to run through the greenhouse.
These cool nights that we have been having are tough on a lot of your annual plants that you purchased in the spring time and it won’t be long before they start looking like they have taken a beating. The nice thing is that we offer a beautiful selection of fall plants that are much hardier than those summer loving plants. We grow over 14,000 mums in all different sizes ranging from 6” to a 20” wicker basket type look with all different colors. My favorite is the five different shades of yellow that we offer, I mean honestly seems a little excessive but hey if you aren’t happy with our yellows then I am pretty sure you might not like yellow. Other plants like Celosia, ornamental kale, and pansies are also available. Mixed pots is also a popular item for fall décor, straw bales, and corn shocks should be coming in so that your house can be the talk around the neighborhood. Come Fall for it at Pahls!
