We hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits! As we embark on week two of our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program we wish you a fantastic week ahead, and may the memories of your 4th of July celebrations continue to inspire and uplift you.
We also want to take some time early on in the season to go over a some housekeeping details and answer a couple of frequently asked questions.
Q. Can we return our empty box?
A. Pahl Farms is USDA GAP Food Safety Certified and one of the requirements of this certification is to pack in clean, unused boxes to prevent microbial pathogens and/or cross contamination. We ask that you please recycle the share box on your own.
Q. Do I need to notify you if someone else is picking up my share?
A. No need to inform us of this, we will always send the share box in the contracted members name and whomever you designate to pick-up your share will simply give the member name and sign for the share box at your pick-up location.
It has come to our notice that some members have inadvertently taken the wrong share sizes, resulting in others being shorted who have paid for larger sizes. We understand that mistakes happen, and we’re here to work together as a community to ensure everyone receives their fair share.
Please be sure you are given/taking the correct share size at your pickup location. Your share size is listed in the header of this email and printed on the sign off sheets at each location. The look of the Standard and Teaser size boxes is very similar but they are printed with either Teaser Share or Standard Share on the bottom and sides of the boxes. Please be sure you have the correct share size before leaving your pickup location. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. CSA programs thrive when there is a strong sense of community and shared responsibility. By working together, we can ensure a smooth and fair distribution process for all our members.
